3rd Annual Otter Trotter 5K Race Description

Join Bayou the Otter on Thanksgiving Day, November 24, 2022, for the 3rd Annual Otter Trotter 5k. The 5k will begin and end at Mississippi Aquarium. The Race begins at 8:15 am in front of the Aquarium and ends at the entry plaza. The Aquarium is open on Thanksgiving Day from 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. making for the perfect way to spend your day, with your family at the Aquarium.

Members of the Aquarium receive a 10% discount.

The minimum age to participate in the 5K is 6 years and the child(ren) must be accompanied by a participating adult. 

 

ROUTE INFO

The 3.1-mile open route race begins at 8:15 am on the Mississippi Aquarium walkway and goes down Highway 90. Because it is an open route, we ask our runners, walkers, and strollers to please be mindful of their surroundings as there will not be barricades. The City of Gulfport Police will be at the intersection of Highway 90 and 20th Avenue intersection to help participants cross the street. Please visit the event page to see the route map.
