5K Run/Walk for the Music Race Description
Join us at Oak Grove Lake Park on Saturday, March 1, 2025, for the OSHS Orchestra's 11th annual 5K Run/Walk for the Music, awarding medals for the top three in each age group, plus t-shirts, goody bags, fruit and delicious boneless wings from Buffalo Wild Wings for all participants, as well as lots of great door prizes from Running Etc., Harris Teeter, Point2 Running Company and more!
Early Bird Registration rates ($20-$25) until 1/24/24
Regular Registration rates ($30-$35) until 2/21/24
After 2/21/24, all registration rates will be $40.00.
Proceeds to support the Oscar Smith High School Orchestra, including the Chamber Orchestra's trip for their acceptance to perform at the prestigious American String Teachers Association's National Orchestra Festival in Atlanta!!!

It was a wonderful race, especially for someone who has never done a 5K before, like myself. The terrain was easy and smooth. The organizers did a wonderful job at getting results out and pictures. I definitely see myself doing this again.

Oscar Smith High School Orchestra Run/Walk for the Music 5K
Another fun event to support the Oscar Smith High School Orchestra. There was a nice crowd. It was windy and cold but a good time was had by all. I hope that enough funds will be raised for the students to make their next trip!!

I was really disappointed we didn’t get a finishing medal for our efforts. I always look forward to those keepsakes.

Fun Race Great Wings
This is a really fun race. You may want to get a different PA system for next year. I felt sorry for you with the times and name sorting. I'm sure that won't happen next time. Thanks for the great wings!
