Race Day Results: Important Information

• Overall & Age Category Winners: Are always determined by gun time (the time at which the race starts).
• GPS Accuracy: GPS devices can be affected by factors like buildings and trees, leading to inaccurate distance readings. Course distances are measured professionally using a calibrated measuring wheel along the Shortest Possible Route (SPR).
• Chip Timing vs. Gun Time: While chip timing provides more precise individual results, official race results are based on gun time.
• Live Results: Live results are unofficial until verified by race timers to ensure accuracy.
• Potential Delays: Factors like incorrect registration information, bib issues, and runners who do not follow the course can delay final results.
• Remote Runner Results: Remote Runner results may take up to 24 hours to be officially processed.
• Bib Tag Importance:
  • Wear your bib prominently on the front of your chest for accurate timing.
  • Do not remove your bib until you cross the finish line (if applicable).
• Finish Line Etiquette: Please do not jump ahead in the finish line chute. This helps maintain accurate results.
