Rockin Run for Christ 5K

Dillon Church of God's Rockin Run for Christ 5K and 1 Mile Fun Walk is an event for both runners and walkers to enjoy. The race will be held December 7th at Dillon Church of God at 536 Radford Blvd Dillon, SC 29536. All proceeds from the race will go to benefit the church. To ensure that you will have a t-shirt please register before November 16th. No matter what age group, everyone has a chance to take home a medal. The top male and female overall runners will take home a prize. Also the top 2 females and males from each age bracket will take home a medal. The age brackets will be as follows: 10 & under, 11-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 & up. The race will be held at 8 am with registration starting at 7 am and ending at 7:45 am. We will also be hosting a kid's dash shortly before the race for our smallest runners to join in the fun as well. Runners are encouraged to dress festive to win prizes for best Christmas-themed dress. Immediately after a runner or walker finishes, there will be a pancake breakfast. For anyone that doesn't compete in the run/walk, breakfast will be available for $5. After the last racer completes the race, a ceremony for all the winners will be held.
