Van Meter 5k Ugly Sweater Run Race Description
The Van Meter Community Development Committee is happy to host the 2024 Ugly Sweater 5k Walk Run. This run is put on to bring awarness of Sidewalks and Trail in our community for the Kick off of our Towns Merry and Bright Night.
This is not a timed race. Each registered participant will receive a Beenie and a hot beverage sponsored by Sara and Hayley RE/MAX Precision Realtors. Stay after for more fun with our pet parade, Santa and Christmas Tree Lighting which is sure to warm your heart.
The Bean will be set up for warm beverages and cookies and our 5th Quarter bar and Grill will be set up for Walking Tacos and Nachos.
If you are interested in volunteering for the run we will need 4 registration volunteers and 5 course marshals. You can do that on by signing up on the volunteer button.
Registration starts at 2pm with the 5k run starting at 2.30
1 mile Run will start at 2.35pm and walkers at 2.40pm.
