Cinco K Mayo Race Reviews

So glad for the remote runner program. I used to do 5K fun runs with my daughter in the spring. I moved away about 2.5 years ago. This is the first year since I moved that I’ve done a 5K. This is my 3rd for the season. I told my daughter about 5kevents. Maybe when everything is back to normal we can participate in person again.

It's nice to have the remote options to keep running and keeping it fun! I ran my own route.

I had a great race & thought it was very well organized. Staff was very friendly, & the course was very well marked. I loved running along that river. This was my @nd 5K ever, had i set a new personal record, & accomplished my goal of being under 30min. I am signed up for the HopTrot in June, & plan to run at least 1 race a month. This time last year I was 274lbs, & started C25K. Now I am down to 200lbs, & in the best shape I've been in in along time. I look forward to this running season.

Website was not up to date with shirt and metal. The first runners received last years metal (advertised metal) and the walkers received a much lower quality not advertised metal. I'm talking garbage metal compared to what was advertised. I feel like this was false advertising, everyone should receive the same metal and refunds should be issued.
