VENUE: The annual Cinco K Mayo ® will take place on Saturday, May 3, 2025. The start and finish take place at Jose's Blue Sombrero Restaurant.

- Awards (5-year age groups increments) We will announce the top 3 males and females overall at Jose's. All age group winners will be posted and medals may be picked up at the Winner's table.
You can view results LIVE at www.5Kevents.org and click on the race results tab. Remember this is a chip start, so a person's finishing order via Gun Start will not be the same as Chip Start. The race clock will represent the official Race start time but not your actual finish time. If your final time, gender, bib# or other data is incorrect on the final results, please notify the race director using our online correction form. PLEASE, Do not interrupt the timing crew during the event.
RACE BIBS / TIMING: We utilize a shoe tag system. You must wear your shoe tags and race bib in order to be timed. Those who do not wear them, or wear them improperly will be disqualified and asked to leave the course as we will not know if you are included in the race (this is for insurance purposes). Pull tabs will not be utilized to limit person-to-person contact. See the image below for proper wearing. Tie one on the left shoe, and one on the right. No tags, no time. Race bibs must be worn and visible at all times. Wear bibs front facing.
AWARDS:
All participants will receive a custom finisher's medal.
Overall top 3 male and female - Overall winners cannot win their age groups
Age category top 3 male and female
- 9 and under
- 5 year age groups
- 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, ETC.
We do not cap age groups!

Website was not up to date with shirt and metal. The first runners received last years metal (advertised metal) and the walkers received a much lower quality not advertised metal. I'm talking garbage metal compared to what was advertised. I feel like this was false advertising, everyone should receive the same metal and refunds should be issued.
I had a great race & thought it was very well organized. Staff was very friendly, & the course was very well marked. I loved running along that river. This was my @nd 5K ever, had i set a new personal record, & accomplished my goal of being under 30min. I am signed up for the HopTrot in June, & plan to run at least 1 race a month. This time last year I was 274lbs, & started C25K. Now I am down to 200lbs, & in the best shape I've been in in along time. I look forward to this running season.

So glad for the remote runner program. I used to do 5K fun runs with my daughter in the spring. I moved away about 2.5 years ago. This is the first year since I moved that I’ve done a 5K. This is my 3rd for the season. I told my daughter about 5kevents. Maybe when everything is back to normal we can participate in person again.
