1.) America's Gold Star Families: America’s Gold Star Families is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization created to provide honor, hope and healing to those grieving any military loss through active duty service. We include all family members representing all conflicts, all branches of service and all circumstance of death.
2.) Home Depot Foundation: The Home Depot Foundation works to improve the homes and lives of U.S. veterans, train skilled tradespeople to fill the labor gap and support communities impacted by natural disasters. Since 2011, the Foundation has invested more than $400M in veteran causes and improved more than 50,000 veteran homes and facilities. The Foundation has pledged to invest half of a billion dollars in veteran causes by 2025 and $50 million in training the next generation of skilled tradespeople through the Path to Pro program.
3.) Power 2 Parent Union: Power2Parent Union exists to empower parents across America to advocate for their children and their parental voice. Especially in education! Chapters are popping up all over the USA as parent groups form to fight against their school districts to get their parental voices heard.

HOW TO PARTICIPATE:
STEP 1: Register for the event.
STEP 2: Donate if you can to our three charities.
STEP 3: Run, Walk, or Hike your favorite 5K route, anywhere in the USA.
Log your run, walk, or hike via the "Manage my registration" tab above.
Rules:
- There is no designated start time or date to complete your run/walks. Run or walk at your pace and your time. The event ends on February 5th, 2022.
- Remember, this is a self-guided run/walk. Stay hydrated, water must be provided by the participant.
- Pick up after yourself and help keep our parks clean.
