This event provides a diverse set of paddling conditions as it winds its way through Rochester to Burlington in Racine County. 

Starting at Case Eagle Park, and ending at Wehmhoff Jucker Park in Burlington where we will join the festivities at Maxwell Street Days. The course is approximately 6 miles and takes about 2.5 hours to complete.

PACKET PICK UP:  Saturday, July 29th @2:00 PM

Shuttle Service from Wehmhoff Jucker Park:

  • Wehmhoff Jucker Park
  • 408 E. Washington St.
  • Burlington, WI 53105

Check-in and drop your watercraft off at Case Eagle Park. Bring your vehicle to the finish (Wehmhoff Jucker Park). We will have a shuttle service that will return you back to the start. This will allow you to leave at your leisure once you complete the course. If you are coming as a group, please only have one driver drop off your vehicle to allow additional space in the shuttle for others.

Timeline of events

  • 1:30 pm – 3:00 pm: Check-In and On-Site Registration
  • 3:00 pm: Launch Time
  • 4:00 pm: End at Wehmhoff Jucker Park
  • If you have a group and want to launch together, just let us know and we will accommodate. 

Important Note for your safety

ALL PARTICIPANTS ARE REQUIRED TO PROVIDE THEIR OWN LIFE VESTS except for rental craft participants. We will have a limited number of preservers available on a first come first serve basis.

It is mandatory that you have a life preserver and always wear it, it may save your life. 5Kevents.org, LLC, and all associated parties assume no responsibility. You are participating in this event at your own risk.

Watercraft Rentals

Canoes and kayaks Rentals are AVAILABLE!

Rentals are $35 - Single and Tandem Kayaks are available as well as Canoes.  

Life Preservers

All participants must provide their own life preserver and wear it at all times during the event.

RENTALS INCLUDE LIFE PRESERVERS.
